Miss Jane's Children
Music in motion.
Young children are beings in motion. In my classes with parents and tots, "music" became a verb out of necessity. Miss Jane's Children is a collection of some of the songs, finger plays and games that were favorites with little ones. Several of the selections, such as Shortnin' Bread, Arkansas Traveler and The Crawdad Hole are ones I loved as child growing up with parents who were from the Southern US.
